Caregiver Support

“There are only four kinds of people in this world: those who have been caregivers, those who are currently caregivers, those who will be caregivers and those who will need caregivers. Caregiving is universal.” – Rosalynn Carter, Former First Lady of the United States

There is a collective agreement that caregivers need support. A caregiver is defined as a family member or friend who regularly looks after a child or a sick, elderly, or disabled person. The CDC reports one in five Americans are caregivers and one out of seven adults expect to be caregivers in two years. According to the population in our area it may be as high as one in three as caregivers.

The Bay Center is seeking to support those in caregiver roles. We are asking that you help us by responding to this survey. Thank you.
