Loved Ones Remembered - December 5, 2023

The Bay Center held its Third Annual Loved Ones Remembered event at the Kilmarnock Town Center Park. The memorial event was a lovely tribute to those lost and a night to remember and honor them. Participants provided names for those to be remembered, read aloud, followed by a bell ringing. Alan Rock welcomed attendees, followed by a moving calling of names, led by Carmela Crawford and the Kilmarnock United Methodist Church Bell Choir. The bells rang out in remembrance. Susan Moseley led responsive readings and lighting of candles serving as grief, courage, memory, love, and hope. Birt Cory ended the night with taps, and we departed in peace.

The Bay Center wishes you peace, hope, and joy this Holiday season and in the New Year.

Names are submitted to be read upon arriving, and 6 candles are lit as representative of Together, Grief, Courage, Memory, Love and Hope, along with responsive readings.
